Information warfare, also known as I-War, IW, C4I, or Cyberwar, has recently become of increasing importance to the military, the intelligence community, and the business world.

It has been defined by Dr. Ivan Goldberg as "...the offensive and defensive use of information and information systems to deny, exploit, corrupt, or destroy, an adversary's information, information-based processes, information systems, and computer-based networks while protecting one's own. Such actions are designed to achieve advantages over military or business adversaries."

The purpose of the site is to examine some of the important topics in the area of information warfare and to discuss what the the information age means to war in the 21st century.
